This project reimagines the identity of NOVA Easy Kombucha through a bold new product line centered on the tagline “Be The Black Sheep.” Known for creating kombucha that is approachable, refreshing, and fun, NOVA’s brand values provided the foundation for a design that pushes the boundaries of traditional kombucha packaging.
Inspired by Bauhaus principles, the geometric design exudes energy, style, and motion. Vibrant colors introduce vitality, and a youthful edge contrasted against a deep black background conveying strength and sophistication. The vertical logo placement reinforces brand recognition and evokes an uplifting yet dynamic spirit. Striking contrasts and modernist accents lend a futuristic feel, mirroring the drink’s role in recharging both body and mind. With a contemporary visual language and a bold presence, the design commands attention on the shelf while embodying the product’s rebellious mantra: Be the Black Sheep.
Through this concept, the goal was to create a packaging system that not only stands out on the shelf but also embodies NOVA’s mission of making kombucha enjoyable, playful, and easy to drink while appealing to a more adventurous audience. This departure from the soft, earthy aesthetics often associated with kombucha positions the product as daring, modern, and unapologetically different—true to its “black sheep” attitude.
